Through the Jurassic Dinosaur Exhibition

An exhibition called Through the Jurassic has kicked off at the Guangdong Science Center on September 26. It presents 14 dinosaur skeletons dating back from 230 million to 65 million years ago, including that of a 22-meter Mamenchisaurus hochuanensis, the biggest and the best preserved skeleton in Asia. 40 fossils of ancient animals and plants during the Jurassic period will also be exhibited.

The exhibition applies modern technology of "real-life" interaction which enables visitors to take photos with, "touch", and even "feed" the dinosaur images projected on a big screen.

The Mamenchisaurus hochuanensis was excavated in Sichuan Provincein 1957, which was a sensational discovery at that time and the skeleton has been displayed in many countries including Japan, Australia and Belgium.
